Research Interests

My research interest is in Floristics, Ethnobotany, medicinal plants, Phytochemistry. I focus on proper plant identification, floral diversity, and aspect of conservation.

Research Project

I have completed a Major Research Project on “Phytodiversity of Nimar region with special reference to the conservation strategy of threatened taxa” funded by MP state Biodiversity Board, Bhopal. I have completed 3 Minor research projects. These are the following:

  1. Ethnobotany of Nimar region, MP funded by UGC, New Delhi
  2. Compilation of flora of 8 districts of Malwa Nimar region funded by MP State Biodiversity Board, Bhopal
  3. Floristic diversity of Harda district with special emphasis on Assessment and conservation strategy of rare, endangered, and threatened plants funded by UGC CRO, Bhopal
